I just had my interview with EY. I had to borrow my friend's coat.. ie, size 2 US, which is like, size 6-8 Aust, i usu wear US 5-6 here,

and it was darn tight, but no other option. it went well. i think. i dunno. so i just have to pray real hard again and hopefully they'll employ me.

I'm applying for Metro NY.. and he asked.. why NY? i had to bull S*** and say-- i've always dreamt of working here. blah blah. not the best answer.

and talked about lots of stupid assignments etc etc. i had an exam this morn, 9:45am-11am.. and slept at 4:30am.. studying.
soo tired.

then after exam, grabbed quick lunch, had to finish off an EY application to hand in at the interview.. stupid 5 pages.. one of htose long admin stuff. ie, list universities, subjects, listing jobs had, why EY, your best achievement in past 2 years.. etc etc..

aarghh.. so finished htat off at 2:10pm. had to rush to get there by 2:30pm. The bus was quite full. if i couldn't get on, i would have been late!

anywya, wearing my friends size 7 (or 7.5) shoes, high heeled.. argh.. so hard to walk in, and got there.. mouth dry as the sahara desert...

did the interview, casual, relaxed. was able to answer questions with good egs.. (no church involved.. a first),
eg dragon boating, e commerce assignment, acct assm, hockey team, working with clients (how i absolutely love it, yada yada)..
there were some hard ones, but i was able to answer them... i was quite impressed htat i had things in my head and could htink.

like, name a time when you were underperforming in a group assm, and how did you overcome that.
Name a time when you were in a leadership position, and how did you go abouts doing it. how do you manage your time effectively. one major difference between here and Aust.

argh..

i'm realising htat some questions, i'd start off with a point, then diverge to another random point, which wasn't askd. anyway-- he said my resume was very impressive... and yeah. i hope he's not lying.

there were like only 6 ppl interviewed for NY office from this campus. but hten again, they are interviewing ppl from all around USA!!
and there are ppl interviewed for like philly, DC, national, harrisburg etc.

in the end, i asked him numerous questions. quite hard, coz he's not an accounting person, but HR.

alright. there's my spiel. i'm on a buzz, wanna go run around like an idiot. but should sleep. body is tired, head's floating.. and in lala land.

oh, getting sooo cold around here now.. no! i have to get a thick coat.. most definately. maybe go to 2nd hand shop and find one. haha.

might still go to canada during thanksgiving break. stupid 4 day break only.
friends got a car! woo hoo. can stay with friends at queens uni. near toronto, montreal and ottawa. alright. email me with things happening.
